Random and inconsistent snippets from an unstructured mind. My truth may not be your truth. A fact is a fact only by standing on it.
It can't fall down, there is nothing holding it up...
Except some sort of capitalist exploitation. The writer is a 3rd generation Indigenous Australian. Not, i might add, Aboriginal - two different concepts.
Very punny, fellers. ? Gerry. What's that to do with dead cows? .. and you accuse ME of changing the subject .. heh.
The pic was taken at Sofala - summer - a couple of years ago and posted (without explanation, as usual) to illustrate the point that not all cattle die with a 'warm and caring' human holding its hoof to 'ease its passing'. Am, frankly, astonished that a tiny "self interest group" has been able to alter (or even halter) federal government policy on live cattle exports. Has anyone pointed out that - not only is it a multi million dollar export market, but that the cattle exported to Indonesia have been 'specially bred' over many years to supply that market and cannot be sold 'down south' into the "domestic" market, which demands a different breed.
Rather than demanding - or even 'expecting' the gummint or the MLA to "compensate" the farmers (including viable aboriginal enterprises) for 'loss of income' why do not the "pink fluffys" take up a collection among themselves, buy the several hundred thousand "poor cows" and care for them in their OWN backyards?
Get over yourself ya cranky old fart. Given the pic's lack of accompanying explications, I had every right to assume that it was taken locally and recently. And given that when I left that comment your area was covered in snow, I could be forgiven for thinking that my comment was on topic.
