so has taken most of the time just to transfer the photos and charge the battery. Will go back to the Burra creek campground tonight, and try to spend some time organising things. Been much more fun spending the time tromping around in the Mallee scrub.
And yer .. am a jolly little swaggie .. heh.

Burra Creek is great.
A group of kinky nurses on a camping trip. There's got to be a Carry On film in there somewhere.
Nice pictures, I love camping. And having fun with crazy women, just don't try to get too attached to them anymore. I've been posting about some of them on my blog in fact.
Just ask Chris Rock
Love the photos :)
Just came back for a second gander and took more notice of the first photo.
EEK!
The male offspring thinks it's cool while I'm heading for the nearest tree to hide in (where I'll probably find gazillions of those buggers!).
I'm with Jayne. Just how big was that spider and how near to the tent was it?
Fun pictures but I gave up tents and sleeping bags for lent, (or for something) about the time I became three score and ten. I get back pains just looking at a sleeping bag.
I grew up on a farm well away from town. And that was too civilized for dad so we'd camp in the sierras or the Mojave desert any weekend he could take off. ...that was more church for us than any buildings with people praying.
Nomads don't need hospitals so I can't say they live worse than us settled folk. Careful who you inspire, Davo.
The nurses all came with husbands and children attached, so there wasn't much in the way of "carry-on", but a great time was had by all.
The spider was only a littlie, about the size of a thumbnail, but did come to visit me (twice) in the tent.
Will try to post more pics as time goes by .. internet connection a bit far away at present.
Message from Davo: communications broken at present but will get back as soon as he can. See other comments I've appended to his most recent posts.
