Yup, at least one of the next door neighbours is a survivor of the Vietnam experiment.
Can't even begin to contemplate what it must have been like, that one - misssed the bullets past earlobe; sheer terror, shooty bang bang bit, death a heart-beat .. or sheer chance away .. by one year.
