The rain has been bringing a tinge of green to the paddocks, but have yet to capture any decent pics .. except this one of the van (washing day .. heh)
..and this one .. apparently the railway doesn't run through here anymore.
Even the couple of days in bed has been relatively pleasant. Have no idea how it works up here, but invested in a 22inch(?) flat screen LCD TV (about $280) with a digital set top box (roughly $40) and have to say that the reception and picture is excellent. Can get all stations - including ABC2. Signal is collected by a little platistic aerial thingo that is erected at the back of the van.
.. and yup, can't help carrying a garden of some sort around with me. Good value, actually. Needs little water .. and don't have to feed or need a litter tray. Very well behaved, is my Cactus.
I do have a much longer post in the pipeline, but you'll just have to wait fer it .. heh.
