How valuable is a human heart

Ok, will be honest - this is a 'teaser'.  Just wanted to say that a friend of mine experienced - in my house - a serious, medical  "heart problem" at roughly 4pm yesterday.

All am prepared to say, at this point - is that can only thank the 000 personnel, as well as the Bathurst and Lithgow 'ambo's' for a result that is - as far as i know - positive.

Will stress - friend of mine,  not me.

Details will emerge later.

Not sure about its commercial value, might be able to organize a cheap replacement from China.
However, it is not the blood pumping thingy which is more inportant than other organs in our bodies but the orifice we sit on; close that for any length of time and every thing else packs in.

Heh, Vestie. The "human organism" - in its entirety - is extremely complex. While yes, the ye olde aphorism of "if ya don't eat, ya don't shit" has been around for a while - there is more to survival than that.

Might also mention that "ye olde planet" may well have the same problem. Can't shit.

The moon being a dead useless planet would be idealy suited as Earth's garbage dump, transportation would be a major problem.

Vestie - do you not think that those 'options' have not been 'thinked, rethinked, "mulled over" for many years - perhaps beyond your concept of "How it should Be".
