In the meantime, some more pics.

Lines in a Landscape

Random and inconsistent snippets from an unstructured mind. My truth may not be your truth. A fact is a fact only by standing on it. It can't fall down, there is nothing holding it up... Except some sort of capitalist exploitation. The writer is a 3rd generation Indigenous Australian. Not, i might add, Aboriginal - two different concepts.

nice country!
Yes, gs, it is; but am having trouble conveying the 180 degree 3D vista as perceived by the eyes with the rather flattened, narrow, linear perspective of the camera.
Very sort-of English 'downs', but can still imagine what it might have looked like when the rolling hills were covered by the native scrub.
I love the hills between Kapunda and Eudunda, whether they are green in winter, yellow (canola) in spring, brown in summer and until the rain comes.
I also like to imagine the scrub that must have been here before the farmers.... mallee trees, box and wattle, but there were so many more. The white-faced cuckoo shrikes are back. It must be winter.
