A question

Seriously, if somebody comes into my house and threatens to kill me ..my first question is .. What are you going to do with it?

You take my life. So? Does that make you a greater or lesser person than me?

If you take my life away from me, does that make you greater?

Or lesser?

If you kill me, take my life away.. you are then responsible for whatever i might have done in the future.

I think if not for Hitler and his stinking Final Solution, we'd have a cure for cancer now. That SOB killed the cure for cancer and no small number of other deep thinkers. You are so right!

Anne. Nah, am not "right". Life began as some singular cell organism. Evolved into a virus called humans. Ya wanna argue??

Us humans have to cope with what we have, Anne, . No more , no less.

Davo, you said, if somebody comes into my house and threatens to kill me ..my first question is .. What are you going to do with it?

Huh? You'd attempt an existential discussion with a killer rather fight for your life? You must be the buddha... Namaste, master...

Depends on the situation though. There are some people who get beyond reason, and so have ways of 'defending' myself, but in the first instance yes. The point being that if I'm dead, am beyond worrying about it, while they have to live with the consequences (whatever that might be). If they then kill themselves, that's two pointless deaths and a bittuva waste, methinks. If there's an 'afterlife' and they think my ghost will forgive them, they have to think again .. heh heh heh.
