Pot plants

Nah, not "pot" plants .. the bloody flowery things people put in moveable earth.

(funny story about 'pot' plants. Some time ago South Australia 'de-criminal'alised it. We were allowed to grow three plants. Self has never really been into that sort of stuff, yup, tried it but found self staring at wall for hours on end.. can do that 'normally', have no need for drugs to help.. heh. Spend most of my mental effort trying to get 'into' life, not 'out of it'.

Friend planted five plants (two died) near the back door and nurtured them to almost fruition. Almost 5 foot high, strong, healthy plants they were; heads abundant.

Then.. ?? well dingbat me has a motor vehicle 'accident'. Some dopey prick in a Holden rams into the left hand side of my Wolseley 24/80. Was taken to hospital, a couple of stitches, then off 'on tour'.

The "bobbies in blue" come to my house to ask questions about the 'accident'.
Knock on door, friend is in shower and doesn't hear. The bobbies come round to the back door.

He hears banging on back door, wraps towel around loins, opens door .. freaks out. Two policemen are standing in close proximity to three pot plants almost as tall as they are.

TBC .. to a bittersweet happy ending)

"TBC" ..writer's shorthand for 'to be continued'.

waiting....(snickering)

haven't followed the pot trends. As a young thing remembered fine pot that was social and talkative. Later it became intense and morose. Quit.
Recently told that there are multiple distinct strains with different effects.
Want to go to Amsterdam and see if past can be recreated. Understand that everyone but me knows that one can order a joint there and anticipate results. No more wall-staring!

woo-hoo!
