(list to be compiled as time permits.)
It would be nice to have the time to write a much longer post on this topic, but just a quick mention at this point.
From a small article on page 6 in the local newspaper..
"Federal Parliament has approved the privatisation of the Snowy Mountains hydro-electric scheme, despite fears that the move could (further) threaten the health of the River Murray .."
(my italics)
Another one
I also see that Malcolm Turnbull (a multi-million dollar "businessman", now member of Parliament) has been "hand picked" by the PM to "kickstart" the River Murray's rescue, but who is "without an agenda more than two months after his selection".
Parliamentary Secretary Turnbull said yesterday that he had no "Grand Master Plan". This, despite the angst and 'discussion' which has been going on for the past 100 years or so; especially from South Australia, which just happens to be at the end of the Murray/Darling catchment "sewer".
Will also include this ..
for the time being until I have time to figure out what to say about it.

And your privacy went for a song.
Looks like Howard and friends have had their way and may eavesdrop on just about anyone, anytime, anyway.
