Have been 'screwed'

Well now, I guess that we've all made a purchase "in good faith".

Even taken a punt (risk) on the internet. Tried eBay.. some you win, some not.

At this point will name Reece George, the 'seller' of instant websites ..shops in a box, and webhost provider 1gighost as suspect risks.

12 months ago I was sucked in to the hype. Bid for a 'description'. Paid the money.

After many emails back then asking for 'information' on how to transfer domain name ownership to me, the 'purchaser', somehow that didn't happen. Reece George kept hold of it. Made it so confusing that it was all "my" fault. The domain name and website remained registered to Reece George.

The domain name and website was supposed to be re-registered last month. It was .. to Reece George. The domain name and website are now up for "Auction".

Am now told that "he who snoozes .. loses". Not really so, was obfuscated by deflective emails until I .. well .. waited.

When I made rather detailed enquiry to the Web host, and mentioned a 'lawyer', was told, more or less, "tuff luck". Nah, sounds like a conspiracy to me.

If I had the time and resources, would publish the 'paper trail' .. but that is what these people rely on for this sort of shit. Who has the time away from sheer labour to put food in mouth?

Sorry folks, we live in interesting times. Recent local 'industrial labour' laws are making it 'illegal' to voice, or organise to march in protest.

So, where does a 'normal' population fit into all this? Patience, I guess .. Patriachs, and Oligarchs have come and gone, the peasants have been ripped off by Snakeoil sellers and peashooters since they discovered Walnut shells.

Doesn't make it any easier to discover that the 'progress' of intellect is re-gressing at a far greater rate that am comfortable with.

"Take up arms against a sea of troubles .." (Shakespeare) or .. "fight for your rights .. grab it now .. or wait a hundred years to see what the authorities arrange" ..(spoken by Jaques Roux, in the play Marat/Sade) ? mm .. in Australia for the past 60 years or so, the only arms that have needed are the ones that hang from my shoulders. Thinks.

(Thank you for comments, friends, sorry if I have not the time to respond in detail, am very busy trying to deal with practical things in analogue time.)

And yes, the 'marketing' practises of Reece George and 1gighost are fairly small bikkies .. considering that i have recently watched a very in depth documentary on local TV (won't name them unless they get 'taken off the air') regarding the Madison Avenue research on how to involve small children. "Marketing" is all about 'selling', whether we like, or 'need' it.

There is no power like a crying child to provoke a female ..

(sheesh ..mttxqmww)

You've made a start, dear Wombat. You have outed the blighter. There are avenues to try - but you will know all that. Herself here at The Trad Pad now talks rather consistently - or should that be constantly - of conspiracy. Getting a bit worried. Last I heard someone carry on like this it was the League of Rights lot with their Jewish-Banker-Communist conspiracy. (I didn't see why conspiracy had to be spoken of when the IMF and the World Bank and Citbank and the Rockefellers were sort of kind of out in the open!) And then I caught her watching 1984 this afternoon. But with the spin doctors with their double speak and a state labor premier going off to join a bank with tentacle like investments that pay their people obscene amounts of money - I'm not going to argue the conspiracy theory. It just shows that that old-fashioned god called Mammon is alive and well in many of the hearts of the nation. It has many willing servants in its grip - but what gets me is that they are held up to us as model citizens.

Sheesh, ms e, am not really into "conspiracy theories". Yes, have fallen into mentioning the mire of "this day tonight' and "whatever commercial tv channel needs ratings".

In this case i do have facts, dates and HRBlock figures. (nah, that's a joke)

Ferget it, will solve the problem quietly (hopefully)
(sheesh "msndvibe" as "password" gotta b a message there somewhere .. heh)

am very disturbed to see your mention of efforts being made to outlaw voice and march of protest.... is this true?

where is the line protecting from tyranny?

Davoh said...

Ah, Hayden, tyranny. Peculiar word, and definitely not 'politically correct' to mention it. Our "little Johnny" and his cohorts have been very careful to avoid any mention of it, and have been quietly putting the blocks of the wall into place for the past 8 years or so. Slowly, slowly so that we, the citizens, don't notice and get really riled... we prefer to eat our chinese cakes and watch the 'circuses'.

this is most distressing! We are losing our democracy here as well. King George announces clearly that he is not subject to the law and few voices are raised in horror, in protest. we are frightened little ducks, too worried about the enemy without to notice the one within, and we're being flucked and plucked.

I wonder if there is any co-incidence between Paul Wolfowitz (one of the 'architects' of the "Iraq solution"), now President of the World Bank .. and the disgruntled young citizens of France.. ??
