Today i purchased a Yamaha XT250 trail bike.
Why? there are many places in the forests and National Parks around here where i cannot take my (albeit relatively ancient 4WD motor vehicle).
Have also recently become interested in the 'wombat' survey currently being conducted by somebody within the University of Western Sydney.

Sort of fascinates me. Have to have a "project" to latch onto. Have, of course, noticed, seen, quite a few Wombats in this area. Mostly dead by the roadside .....
but they are alive, hidden in the National Parks.
My problem at this point is - if i find 'live' burrows and 'live' wombats in this area (believe me, they remain - "in the wild") ..... should i make their location "public"?

Sheesh, Vincent. You were quick off the mark. Um, at this point the National Broadband Network in this house seems to have stumbled over a 'bureaucratic' error ... 24th of this month ... perhaps.

yes Vincent, there is a discussion around here (ex mining ELDERLY remnants) about the "Darwin principle" - (and believe me, there are still TOXIC creeks around here, leaching into the groundwater from 'the mines' of 90 years ago) ..

Vincent, i live in a small "community" here ... recently one of the 'ex?' drug addicts threatened to 'kill my dog'.
At this point am wondering why.
I see many dogs wandering in and out of my canines territory (quite small).
Perhaps he has a 'personal' problem with ME. Would be nice if he actually tried to discuss any perceived problem, personally, with ME ... and not express his frustrations on an innocent canine ?
