Am, of course, personally nowhere near these events. However, have been watching what happens next and .. well, this post seems to sum up (at least from my point of view - and have spent some time in that area)- the basic attitude of those who live there.
Um, It's the title of a novelty song written by Frank Silver and Irving Cohn. Sung by Eddie Cantor in the 1922 Broadway revue "Make it Snappy". Origin of the phrase unknown.
.. aaaand yes, if anyone HAD been paying attention .. there was considerable 'local' opposition some time ago to the building of a "marina" in that location.
