Inefficiency 101

This is a pic of a 3.8 litre, six cylinder LPG/petrol engine driving an alternator feeding amps – roughly for an hour or so - into a 12 volt 80/amp/hour battery which drives a 600Watt inverter to convert 12 volt to 240 volts to drive a 'converter” which translates the 240 volts into 9 volts (unknown amps) into something that the battery in my computer understands .. heh.

There used to be a joke with the theme about "doing it the hard way" whose punch line was up "standing up in a canoe."

You've probably heard it.

WV is 'egazing', what we all do isn't it!
