Everything that I write - or post - here - is an apparent "non sequitur".

I might be mad .. but do know the difference between a Wedgetail and a Chainsaw.

Very fine pictures and the whole in the ground is shimmering with rainbow colours. Is it minerals, or have people dumped unused paint down its slopes? And would it be a good place to go skinny-dipping?

sequitur: (sic) Nifty tool for pruning one's profound observations into a mundane hedge. - from the Ozlang Dozer: To make "Holy", preparatory to Abandonment.

Er, sorry, I'm a coupla pages short of a dictionary.

There ain't no place like a hole in the ground.

That hole looks like a wonderful place to go swimming. I wonder if it's safe?

Sophia can't, at this point of time, give you any facts about the safety of swimming in that hole. For a start, 'tis winter here. Also, there are fences and "warning" signs around it.

The colouring comes from residual copper.

.. but give me time. Am mad enough to try swimming in it .. at my age, have nothing to lose.

There's better swimming holes around. There's a beauty out on the Truro road.

You must have been wandering around Dutton Park when the Talbot came to town. Me too. I was pretty excited to see two Vauxhall 14/40s together and took a photo with my phone. I used to have one exactly like them over 40 years ago.
