OZ in 30 seconds

Haven't mentioned this previously, as have presumed my three or four Australian readers don't have video cameras.

There is, or was, a competition set up recently by GetUp! Australia, calling for a 30 second video clip in which to give an overview of Australia .. though with political bias, apparently.

In 30 seconds, show us a slice of your vision: perhaps it's a call to action on an issue close to your heart; or maybe an idea that brings us closer to the Australia you want to live in; or your take on a major policy or event, rather than the spin you've been fed.

The competition has now closed, and voting has begun.

It's easy. Click here ( or the post title) to go to the website, view the videos - the screen gives five random videos to view - and a rating system (1-10) below each one.. Make sure you click "Finish Voting" at the end.

Have only seen six or seven so far, some are hilarious, and very pertinent. Enjoy.

You'd be surprised what one can do in 30 (earthtime) seconds Billy B, after all, the average Mainstream meeja "quote from a politician" is between 5 and 10 seconds.

Technically, these people had 27 seconds to get a message across. The last 3 seconds were for "authorisation" .. heh.

I could put something like 60 images into 27 seconds .. it's all about "impressions".
