Random and inconsistent snippets from an unstructured mind. My truth may not be your truth. A fact is a fact only by standing on it.
It can't fall down, there is nothing holding it up...
Except some sort of capitalist exploitation. The writer is a 3rd generation Indigenous Australian. Not, i might add, Aboriginal - two different concepts.
Hello Crystal, thanks for increasing my confusion.
Just to set the record straight, MY backyard is a sad expanse of dust and dry grassblades, and have taken to buying water in 10 ltre casks from the Coles's down the road .. Adelaide water, always of dubious taste and origin, has begun to taste even more peculiar than usual. (and yups, even though it says "crystal spring" or some such, they probably fill it from the tap and flog it off for $5/10 litre.)
The pic was actually taken in the backyard pond of a rather gorgeous baked-brick mansion ( which has been vacant for six months) built in 1937 in one of the "toffy" suburbs. Will write a post about it as, for someone with Bollinger tastes on a swamp-water income, the ambience of the place provoked a great deal of yearning and envy.

I needed that Davo, I love lotus blossoms.
Cheers JT.
Gorgeous. Bet that didn't need boiling water to get it rocking on.
snap
I've set that as desktop background and I just sit and look at it. That's the closest I'll get to meditation.
