From a local 'murdoch' newspaper. Click the title.
However, we did have this 'note' from a battling politician.
Opinion?
(GUEST COLUMINSTS ??.. sheesh)
(re-edited.. 14th April. Have just noticed that the link from the "title" of this post actually changes from day to day. Links you to the local "daily" paper.
The name "The Advertiser" is a much more accurate description of this 'daily' paper than "the news". "The News" was a small, salacious rag in South Australia some time ago bought out by Rupert Murdoch in ??. Perhaps Rupert is playing a joke on you all.)

very disturbing. thanks for providing the link.
What IS disturbing Hayden, is the 'infection' from washington.
absolutely. I am horrified by the contagion.... I keep hoping the world will stand up together and say "NO" to us, but this doesn't bode well....
it shows how frail and thin a veneer of democracy we really have protecting us...
I wonder - we think that part of the reason we are susceptible to this balderdash is that we are (as a nation) extraordinarily religious. Australia isn't nutty that way, nor is UK, and yet they've easily been infected. So is our analysis of religious susceptibility wrong? unfounded/unsupported?
Have just find your blog, really interesting. HEllo from Spain! I´m studying journalism, I´ve already worked in a newspaper for a few months. I think I won´t do again, it´disgusting how politicians, lawyers... can modify every word of your composition. Politicians think they're the greatest
Hello Madeleine, welcome to this insignificant, tiny, (crazy) corner of the blogosphere. I don't speak, or understand Spanish, but the 'images' on your blog say much (grins).
Hayden, am not sure about 'religious susceptibility', nor the history of american presidents, but the 'burning Bush' seems to be the first one to actively and publicly 'pound the pulpit'. Actually, I wouldn't have the first idea if our PM is seriously religious, nor what 'faith' he belongs to, but certainly keeps 'religion' separate from 'politics' and does not use 'God' as an excuse.
Will have to think further on that. Cheers.
