Another Day .. another sunrise

As one (Gregorian/Julian) Roman church year ends, another begins.
Davo and Wombat Wol wish each and everyone the joy of discovery for this,
and for many days to come.

(The image comes via the courage of the NASA Apollo 12 Crew).

Hi Davo, dropping by to say g'day and return the visit. There is something terribly and revealing arbitary about all this space and time stuff.

Interesting snippet I read somewhere - they're pausing 2006 by one second. The last minute in 2005 is going to be 61 seconds so they can coordinate UTC in relation to the . . . well I'm not sure, but 2005 is notto leave us without hanging on as long as it can!

Have a pleasant evening, and see you at Gerry's no doubt in the new year.

Cheers, Wildpic, am just a bloke. Not quite into the 'multidimensional' just yet; but have the book "The Elegant Universe" by the bedside.

Link, who gives a flying f*** about a few milliseconds here or there. Cheers.

Link, do WE, "Really" think that human beings control the universe? Don't answer that. Each person has control only over their own lives. As a community, humans have some input. It's a long story.

Link, am an old bloke. Have flown and navigated. To get that far, milliseconds are vital.

These days, my body is earthbound, but my mind is elsewhere.

Davo we're you're actually gaining time in this calculated re-jig. Life will actually be a second longer. No - really I kid you not.

Human beings (btw) (yep I'm gonna answer that with a simple obsevation) can't even control their effing selves!@!

And, the discovery of the various voices of Wombat having been one of the pleasant events of 2005, I'm planning to drop in on your expeditions as 2006 progresses.
