I did the remembrance thingy at the RSL club today. Did not see any WW2 blokes Just me. Young lady say's "They will be your fathers medals am I right?. "No"I replied " my daddy died in 1930 when I was a 4 year old. These medals are my sons fathers medals , Ok." I think she and her friends are still working on my reply. Its the good living which prevents wrinkling and that aged look.

Vestie - there is no 'plight'- simply a few things that have to negotiated and dealt with.
